The city I will be choosing for the Olympic logo will be Montréal for the 2020 winter games. A big part of Montréal is the French culture so I might incorporate the famous fleur de lis image ( french symbol ) into my logo somehow. Another option is incorporating an image of their former Olympic stadium which has an unusual but interesting structure in its own right. Montreal also has a coat of arms symbol which might play very well into an Olympic logo. Apart from that, I plan on researching more on symbolic or unique structures of Montréal for more candidates for useful imagery. The following pictures are a few image references.
