Trigun originally started as a Japanese manga series and was eventually turned into an anime series. The overall genre of the series can be described as a sci-fi/western style. The basis of the plot revolves around "Vash the Stampede", a lighthearted, red coat wearing, life-loving marksman with deep inner troubles and a violent past who brings trouble (through little fault of his own) no matter where he goes thanks to the 60 billion dollar bounty on his head. He is followed by Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson, two insurance agents, that keep tabs on the wake of destruction that Vash brings. Vash later partners up with Nicholas Wolfwood, a priest who brings brings down redemption with the barrel of a gun.
While full of humor, the series also has it's very serious points that involve the fate of humanities struggle to survive of the desolate planet they reside on, and the morality behind bringing death to those that may or may not deserve it.
For the box-set, I plan on creating a complete collection of the entire anime series with extra features.
omg ! I Love Trigun !! I think its the best anime ! love the storylines and the characters. Vash is so pure at heart =) He is a character I can relate with because I don't like killing. even the little bugs under our feets. =) Good luck making this one !
